Bec Dalzell
Physiotherapist
Bec has over 25 years experience as a physiotherapist caring for people with chronic and complex conditions. She worked as the Queensland Haemophilia Physiotherapist for 15 years, and has also worked in public hospital outpatients, chronic pain, private practice and within the private hospital setting. Over the past ten years, since moving to Port Macquarie, Bec has been seeing more and more clients with complex neurological conditions and has done extensive ongoing training in the management of those with spinal cord injury, MS, TBI, FND and Parkinsons. In 2021 Bec opened ‘Bec Dalzell Physiotherapy’ to provide a unique, accessible, comprehensive, goal centred, client focussed service for those with chronic and complex conditions in our region. This has since grown and developed, and she now leads the talented allied health team at what has become ‘Diverging Pathways’. Bec is dedicated, caring and compassionate, and always works collaboratively with the broader healthcare team to ensure the best outcomes for her clients. She has a passion to help people meet their goals so that they can achieve the greatest independence and quality of life possible.

Mark MacGibbon
Physiotherapist
Mark is a physiotherapist with 17 years experience, across hospital and private settings. Mark has worked in major hospitals in Australia and Canada, and through this time has developed experience working with a variety of neurological conditions. His time spent within these hospitals led to him pursuing the chance to working with clientele as they leave the hospital, and experience challenges within the community, and embark on further rehabilitation.
Mark has also pursued further training in concussion management, which involves increasing awareness as well as using current best practices to manage this condition. He grew up in Port Macquarie and is enjoying the lifestyle the region brings since returning in 2020. Mark has a particular passion for supporting those with brain inuries, and has brought a wealth of skill and experience to our team since joining us in early 2024.
Natalie West
Exercise Physiologist
Nat is an Exercise Physiologist with 15 years experience across a range of settings including private practice, and hospital rehabilitation. She has a passion for sport and exercise, and loves helping individuals to reach their full potential. She has a particular passion for working with those with chronic and complex conditions, and helping clients to improve their function and achieve their goals. Nat is a skilled and compassionate clinician who joined us in 2023 to help progress our clients to an even greater level of independence and community engagement.

Marita Verlaan
Exercise Physiologist & Dietician
Marita is our amzing Dietitian and she is also an Exercise Physiologist. Graduating in 2012, Marita has worked in community and hospital settings in Mt Isa, Papua New Guinea and Port Macquarie.
Marita has a particular interest in working with patients with neurological conditions, disability and other complex, chronic conditions. Marita believes that both movement and food should be fun, joyful and promote long term good health and she loves partnering with people to find the best way for them to achieve their wellbeing goals.

Louise Nosworthy
Occupational Therapist
Louise has over 9 years experience as an Occupational Therapist and has a particular passion for working with clients with neurological conditions. She has worked within a variety of settings, including acute hospital, aged care, rehabilitation hospital and in private practice in the community. Louise has experience in functional assessments, implementing cognitive strategies, upper limb rehabilitation, equipment prescription and minor home modifications. She is passionate about improving the quality of life of her clients and believes in a holistic approach to assist clients in achieving their unique goals, whatever they may be! It was great to welcome Louise to our team in 2025.
Sandra Hollins
Provisonal Psychologist
Sandra’s passion for supporting people living with chronic health conditions led her to retrain as a psychologist after a 30-year career in the corporate world. Along the way, she has been deeply involved in her community, volunteering with organisations such as the NSW Cancer Council, Rotary, local schools and health services. Her volunteer roles have included everything from fundraising and health promotion to hands-on client support in oncology and palliative care.
As a provisional psychologist, Sandra is known for her kind, compassionate approach and her genuine interest in understanding each person’s unique experience. She understands the emotional and practical challenges that can come with long-term health conditions and enjoys working alongside clients as they navigate their health journey. Sandra uses evidence-based strategies to help reduce distress, build resilience and support a meaningful quality of life.
Sandra works closely with our multidisciplinary team to ensure clients feel supported, understood and empowered to live as fully and independently as possible.

Ashleigh Olsen
Royal Academy of Dance Teacher
Ash is our amazing Dance teacher who collaborates with our Allied Health professionals to provide our Movement to Music sessions. Her experience spans over 25 years in various countries including Zimbabwe, South Africa, Japan, the United Kingdom and Australia. She has taught dance to people of all abilities, cultures and ages. Ash trained as a Classical Ballet Teacher at the Royal Academy of Dance and is also qualified as a learning enhancement teacher, working with high needs students within the school setting. She has done extensive ongoing professional development into the management of neurological conditions. Ashleigh has an incredible gift at teaching, a massive heart and a massive smile, and loves delivering classes to people of all ages and abilities within our community. She offers individually tailored classes suited to the needs of each individual, and provides exercises that will improve balance and proprioception, spatial awareness, visual stabilisation, musicality, teamwork and communication skills. Everyone who comes to her classes leaves inspired!

Kelly Malofie
Practice Manager
Kelly is our Practice Manager and brings over 9 years of experience in medical administration. With a genuine passion for making a positive difference, she combines exceptional organisational skills with strong problem-solving abilities to support both our clients and clinical team. Working both behind the scenes and at the front desk, Kelly plays a key role in ensuring the smooth, efficient, and compassionate operation of our practice. Her ability to manage complex administrative demands while maintaining a welcoming environment makes her an integral part of our day-to-day operations, and the backbone of all we do. A proud mother of two beautiful girls, Kelly has an enormous heart for people and a natural ability to make others feel at ease. As the face of Diverging Pathways, she is often the friendly voice on the phone, the helpful contact via email, or a familiar presence around the clinic. Kelly is truly an invaluable asset to our team.
Megan Berris
Receptionist and Therapy Assistant
Megan is our Administrator and Allied Health Assistant, bringing strong organisational skills, professionalism, and a people first approach to her role. She is completing a Certificate IV in Allied Health through TAFE, finishing mid year 2026 and is committed to continually developing her knowledge to deliver high-quality care, service, and support. Having relocated from Brisbane to Port Macquarie with her husband, Megan enjoys the coastal lifestyle and values meaningful connection whether through beach walks, good coffee, or her work with others. With extensive experience in customer service and leadership roles Megan brings confidence, capability, and reliability to the team. She approaches her work with the belief that investing in people is one of life’s greatest values, and is known for her warm, approachable nature and strong work ethic.
